I somehow like the framing of this photo, normaly I would avoid a person so prominent in the front with only half his face. it is something I would like to experiment with in my paintings.
A suggestion if I may...
Crop the girl on the far right, with the dark red hair, totally out of the image. She is a distraction since everyone elses faces are shown. Then you have a wonderful eye flow across the image.

you are totally right, de dark red head is a distraction.
I've tried different framings with this picture, at the time I didn't think they were improvements, maybe I will try it again.
